Fort Smith Regional ARFF Station

Fort Smith Regional Airport ARFF (Airfield Rescue & Fire Fighting) Station is apart of the 188th wing of the Arkansas Air National Guard with firefighters working 24 hours a day, seven days a week in case of emergencies. The three bay facility is located between both runways, which allows for quicker rescues. The design includes private rooms for workers to sleep and shower while on duty and a gallery office for workers to keep watch of any potential dangers to the runways.
